EDINBURGH UNIVERSITY HARE AND HOUNDS CLUB BLUES CONSTITUTION

MINIMUM STANDARDS REQUIRED FOR BLUE

To be eligible for nomination for a Blue award the Club member should satisfy the following conditions:

  1. Fulfil the guidelines set out in Section 8 (Blues, Half Blues and Colours) of the E.U.S.U. Constitution.
  2. The candidate should achieve the following. In exceptional circumstances the Committee reserves the right to propose a candidate who has achieved performances of equal merit in other events.
    Men's Standards
    1. S.U.S.F. Representation
    2. Achieve 2 of the following
      1. Top 40 in B.U.S.A.
      2. Top 10 in S.U.S.F.
      3. Top 40 in Scottish Senior National Championships
        OR
        Top 5 in Scottish Junior National Championships.
    Ladies' Standards
    1. S.U.S.F. Representation
    2. Achieve 2 of the following
      1. Top 20 in B.U.S.A.
      2. Top 3 in S.U.S.F.
      3. Top 15 in Scottish Senior National Championships
        OR
        Top 3 in Scottish Junior National Championships.

MINIMUM STANDARDS REQUIRED FOR HALF BLUE

To be eligible for nomination for a Half Blue award the Club member should satisfy the following conditions:

  1. As for Blue
  2. The candidate should achieve the following. In exceptional circumstances the Committee reserves the right to propose a candidate who has achieved performances of equal merit in other events.
    Men's Standards
    Achieve 2 of the following
    1. Top 80 in B.U.S.A.
    2. Top 20 in S.U.S.F.
    3. Top 100 in Scottish Senior National Championships
      OR
      Top 15 in Scottish Junior National Championships
    Ladies' Standards
    Achieve 2 of the following
    1. Top 50 in B.U.S.A.
    2. Top 10 in S.U.S.F.
    3. Top 25 in Scottish Senior National Championships
      OR
      Top 8 in Scottish Junior National Championships.
