This Saturday saw the mighty EUH&H descend on (what's it called?) Cumbernauld for the Scottish National Cross Country Relays. The course was a 4km loop, winding up and downhill as well as through plenty of leg sapping mud. The lasses once again showed us how it's done, trotting into sixth place (out of 64) and were narrowly denied 5th by GB international Freya Murray. Well done Jessie, Jenny and Anna! Our faster boys (Iain, Matt Sutherland, Robbie, Benedict) did well too, coming in at 20th out of 94 finishing teams, particularly impressive as all but Ben are juniors. Further back, the B team (Matthew Donnery, Rupe, WHB, Nic) trotted into 35th place, just under 4 minutes behind the others. A storming from Nic particularly helping the cause.
