Braids Hill Race

Get hyped for this year’s Braids Hill race! Whether you are planning to run, marshal or just simply putting all your energy into perfecting your ceilidh moves, I hope you are excited for an incredibly fun weekend!

The Braid Hills Cross Country Races are an annual event hosted by Edinburgh University Hare & Hounds. Traditionally held in mid-November, the races now take place in March. They take place on a challenging 5km loop course situated between King’s Buildings and the Pentland Hills, surrounded by great views of our beautiful city. The two races, a 5km and 10km, are popular with both local club runners and universities across the UK. After conclusion of the event, there will be a post race social including the infamous ceilidh!
