Follow the Facebook event page here for up-to-date information leading up to the big day!
The ‘KB5’ road race is held every year by Edinburgh University Hare & Hounds. The race starts and finishes inside the Kings Buildings Science and Engineering Campus, on West Mains Road. The course consists of a 5 mile road loop, with quite a few hills, though none of them steep. All participants must be 17 years old or over on the day of the race.
A third of all proceeds from the race will go to charity – we are very pleased to announce that, like last year, we will be supporting Cardiac Risk in the Young (C-R-Y) again. They do great work in reducing the number of young sudden cardiac deaths (YSCD). CRY also offers support to young people diagnosed with potentially life-threatening cardiac conditions and offers bereavement support to families affected by YSCD.
